Status
1 HighStreetLawyer.com is owned and operated by High Street Lawyer Limited (“We/Us”). We are a limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 7273330. All correspondence should be sent to P O Box 740 Borehamwood WD6 9HJ.
2 We are not a firm of solicitors. We are not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority although we voluntarily adhere to the relevant codes of conduct.
3 We will recommend a law firm to you, who may or may not have signed an agreement with us, who in our opinion is suitable for carrying out the work that you have notified to us.
4 It is your obligation to ensure that all information provided to us is accurate in order for us to recommend the appropriate firm for carrying out the work.
5 We reserve the right not to make a recommendation to you if we consider that your work cannot be carried out according to our required service standards or for the price that has been quoted on our site.
6 There is no contract between you and us. The law firm who you instruct will send you a client care agreement.
7 The decision to instruct the law firm that we recommend shall be entirely your choice.
Intellectual property
8 We are the owner of all intellectual property rights in our website and in the material published on it. All such rights are reserved. All trademarks and designs whether registered or unregistered are owned by us.
Changes to information
9 Whilst we aim to ensure that all material shown on our website is accurate we may change the content of the site regularly and we are under no obligation to ensure the accuracy of the material on the site at any time.
Liability
10 The material displayed on our site is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law we expressly exclude all conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.
We further exclude any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with our site or in connection with the use, inability to use or results of the use of our site, any websites linked to it and any materials posted on it, including, without limitation, any liability for:

12 You acknowledge that we will pass your personal information to any law firm in our network, who may or may not have signed an agreement with us, in order for us and them to assess the nature of the work involved.
13 We may also disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 736 of the UK Companies Act 1985.
14 We may contact you from to time with details about us, our member firms and offers or promotions that we are running.
